Facilities The Ocean Science Centre Mindelo is a scientific-logistical platform to facilitate field campaigns in the tropical Northeast Atlantic. It is located in direct neighborhood of the INDP and is a joint bilateral initiative of GEOMAR and INDP.  Islândia is the research vessel used for most cruises from Mindelo.  In the context of the Cape Verde Ocean Observatory (CVOO) continuous observations are being performed by a moored instrument array.  At the INDP in Mindelo, there are laboratories available for scientists who want to use the CVOO site. Please have a look at the FAQ section, if you want to use the CVOO facilities. |
